How To Pay SSS Contribution If Your Are A Voluntary Member

I resigned from my job last April of 2017. So, after that, wala na kong hulog sa SSS. Sabi ko mag-huhulog kami ni Jules voluntarily. Pero months past, year past, wala pa din. Maybe my number 1 reason is nakaka-tamad mag-hintay. (We all know that!) I don't know what urged me na mag-punta at mag-ayos sa SSS.

We decided to go to SSS at SM North EDSA (Annex Bldg., Lower Ground Floor, beside Bowling Center).

First, you need to write down your name at their LogbookFYI, they will not entertain you kahit may tanong ka lang, you still have to write your name sa logbook and remember your number, beside your name.

And, our number called. We asked for an E4-Form (Self-Employed sana ia-apply namin). Sabi ni ate, kung gusto na lang daw ba namin mag-voluntary kasi same lang naman daw yun. We said yes. 😁 Ate asked for our SSS ID and how much yung contribution namin. As per our last digit sa SSS number namin, pwede pa kami mag-bayad for the month of September. FYI again, hindi mo na pwede bayaran yung mga past months na hindi mo nabayaran. Ate asked us if we already have a PRN (Payment Reference Number), sabi namin wala pa. Binigyan niya kami ng print-out with our details, including our PRN.

We went to BPI SM North, pero sabi nila they only accept the CON-01181 (05-2014) Form, hindi pa sila tumatangap nung print-out from SSS SM North. So, we paid at SSS SFDM Branch. I asked kuya guard na I will pay, tinanong nya ko kung ilan, sabi ko 2, multiple transaction na yun! Mahaba ang pila, kailangan mo mag-hintay! 😂 Pinakita ko lang yung print-out na binigay ni ate. After 1 day, we received a text message that our contribution is already posted. That's it! Next month na ulit. You can pay monthly or quarterly basis.

💡: PRN is required to all members of SSS who will pay for their contributions. You can get that at their website, visit this 👉 site for guide or go to any SSS Branch.

1. Go to SSS early.
2. Bring a pen.
3. If you're going to pay using the CON-01181 (05-2014) Form fill-it-out carefully. And keep it.
4. Visit this 👉 site for more info about PRN.
5. Visit SSS website for more info.

❗ These are all my experience paying SSS contribution. Please visit or call any SSS Branch for more clarification/information.
